Mathias Bäck

I am a specialist in orthopedics and traumatology. 

My special expertise focuses on lower limb and sports injuries. I mainly treat fractures and tendon injuries in the knee and ankle area. I do knee anterior ligament and meniscus surgeries, ligament procedures, fracture surgeries and hamstring tendon repairs. I previously worked in the hip and lower limb unit of Helsinki University Hospital.

I do research in the FICEBO (Finnish Center for Evidence-Based Orthopaedics) research group.
